Lighthouses, dykes, rough sea, cruise ships and container giants: these associations are inevitably connected with northern Germany – a region also known for its (musical) scientific research. Hence, the 32nd symposium of the DVSM e.V. (Dachverband der Studierenden der Musikwissenschaft; Association for Students of Musicology) will take place in the waterside city of Kiel from the 7th to the 10th of November 2019 under the leadership of students and PhD candidates of the Department of Historical Musicology of Kiel University.
This year’s symposium is themed:
Ka-Ching! The Sound of Money
